Alabama, 7pm, ESPNTwo decades after their last match-up, the Penn State Nittany Lions will travel to Alabama to take on the Crimson Tide for what is sure to be one of the most exciting match-ups this weekend. Alabama is looking to repeat as national champions, but they’ll most likely have to pull this one out with star running back Mark Ingram on the sidelines with an injured knee. But the 18th ranked Penn State will be looking to make a statement by knocking off the top-ranked Alabama and prove they are a serious contender, even with true freshman QB Robert Bolden.
Prediction: With two great run defenses, both teams will be airing it out Saturday night, but Bolden’s inexperience will show and Alabama will pull off a nail-biting win.
