So here it is - finally - the first Saturday in the college football regular season! Despite a list of powerhouse vs. mid-major match-ups, we have Oregon State and TCU competing in the Cowboy Classic this evening at 7:45. The sixth ranked Horned Frogs are looking to make a run at the BCS title game, while the 24th-ranked Beavers look to take advantage of USC's bowl ban and contend for the Rose Bowl. Bold prediction(?): Some early threats from the Beavers will have TCU reeling, but a strong set of defensive stops will carry the Horned Frogs to a win.
