NC State (3-0) vs. Georgia Tech (2-1), 12pm, ESPN Georgia Tech has the third best rushing attack in the nation, led by QB Joshua Besbitt and HBs Anthony Allen and Orwin Smith. But, GT also has the second worst passing offense in Division-I. Simply put, if the Wolfpack can stop the run, they can stop the Yellow Jackets offense entirely. NC State has yet to allow an opponent to rush for 100-yards this season, while GT averaged 345 rushing yards in the first three games this season. Quite frankly, something has to give.
Prediction: I really want to say NC State in this one, but my gut says to go with the Yellow Jackets. Their running game is scary good and I think it will make up for their scary bad pass attack. Tech wins.
