21 Texas (3-1) vs. 8 Oklahoma (4-0), 3:30pm, ABC
Two bitter rivals face off at the Cotton Bowl as both Oklahoma and Texas come in to the game with something to prove. For OU, it's a chance to prove that last season’s disappointment has truly passed. The team finally looks comfortable with Landry Jones at the helm, and is currently ranked #8 in the AP poll.
On the other sideline, Texas is looking to overcome last week’s debacle against UCLA. After falling in the polls, it's up to Garrett Gilbert and company to prove that Texas is, once again, up to the task of being among the top teams in the country.
Plus, an Oklahoma player made an "inappropriate" tweet about a gunman who opened fire on the Austin campus. As if these teams needed more bulletin board fodder.
Get ready for a dandy.
Prediction: OU for sure.
