2 San Diego State vs. 7 Temple, Saturday 6:10 PM ET, TNT
San Diego State had a great showing in the second round, beating N. Colorado by 18 points. They look to continue their run in the tournament against a solid Temple team and gain the respect they haven’t received all year.

Player to Watch: Malcolm Thomas, F, SDSU
As SDSU’s second leading scorer, Thomas was a non-factor in their first game, scoring only 4 points and grabbing only 4 rebounds. He needs to step it up and provide a lost post presence if SDSU expects to make it deep into the tournament.
My Bracket: SDSU
While Temple had a strong showing outlasting Penn St., SDSU is just too good and Temple is outmatched in this one. SDSU will move on to play next weekend.
