News10/KXTV of Sacramento reports that the fate of the Kings should be known within the next couple of days. Kings owners Joe and Gavin Maloof held a conference call with the NBA's relocation committee - which includes Clay Bennett, owner of the Oklahoma City Thunder and man who moved the Seattle SuperSonics.
The Maloofs plan to relocate the franchise to Anaheim because of the poor state of the Powerbalance Pavilion. No plan is currently in place for a replacement arena in Sacramento. The Kings would be the third NBA team in the metro market should they move to Anaheim.
