Kings Staying for One More Go Around

The Sacramento Kings are safe, for now. The Maloof brothers, the owners of the Kings, will host a press conference today to announce that the Kings will be staying in Sactown for the 2011-12 regular season per Comcast SportsNet California.

This does mark a victory for the Sacramento faithful and clearly shows that some in the league oppose a move to Anaheim, but the Kings still need to solve their arena issues sooner rather than later. Otherwise, next spring will bring the same turmoil and uncertainty for the franchise as seen in 2011.
