Despite trailing for much of the game, Dallas once again forced Miami's hand in the final minutes. Unfortunately for Rick Carlisle and company, the Mavs could not duplicate their Game 2 magic and lost, 88-86. Tonight, the Mavs hope to even the series.

Useless stat: Three Mavericks logged over 40 minutes Sunday while only LeBron James surpassed that mark for the Heat.

Player to Watch: Dallas starters not named Dirk
PF Dirk Nowitzki outscored the other four Dallas starters, 34-27, in Game 2. That lack of production just will not cut it. Jason Terry and Dirk should not be responsible for the entire offensive load if Dallas hopes to force a Game 6.
Prediction: Dallas
This prediction is probably a total copout, but I think these teams will continue to trade victories. I still have Miami in the end, but Dallas should not be too worried coming into this game down a game. The Mavs have played excellent in the last two games and can win three of four against the Heat - I just don't think they will.
