Perry Pearn fired from Montreal Canadians

The Montreal Canadians have started to clean up their act this season after a rough few weeks on the ice. Assistant coach Perry Pearn was fired on Wednesday, October 18, before their game against the Philadelphia Flyers. This would have been his third season with the Montreal Canadians under Jacques Martin.

The Habs have not been on their game this season, losing six games in a row. Pearn was one of the main reasons for many of those losses. He was responsible for the power plays, but unfortunately he had not helped the team. The Habs start this year has been one of the worst the Canadians has ever seen. In the first few games the Habs had a three-for-32 power play and it was decided that Perry Pearn needed to go.

There is no word on who the new assistant coach will be or where Pearn will go from here.
