After a resurging comeback being down 10 – 0, the Patriots couldn’t hold on, as the Giants went into Foxboro and beat New England 24 – 20. Eli Manning threw 2 TDs, one of them to Jake Ballard with 15 seconds remaining to notch the G-Men victory.

A win’s a win. The Packers pulled out a 45 – 38 victory in San Diego against the Chargers. Green Bay remains undefeated at 8 – 0, thanks to Aaron Rodgers and his 4 TD passes.


Torrey Smith’s TD catch with only seconds remaining in the 4th Quarter secured the Raven’s 23 – 20 win against their arch-rivals the Steelers. Joe Flacco led the drive and finished with 300 yards and that key TD.

Although the final score didn’t indicate, the hype surrounding #1 LSU and #2 Alabama’s matchup lived up to its expectations. LSU remains the top dog, winning on a field goal in OT, 9 – 6. The Tigers control their own destiny to play in the BCS Championship.

The Dallas Stars scored 4 unanswered goals in the 2nd period, but this game got even crazier. Loui Erksson’s second goal of the night in OT shot the Stars to a wild win over the Colorado Avalanche, 7 – 6.

Who’s Number 2!? Oklahoma St. found a way to pull out a 52 – 45 win over Kansas St. Saturday. The Cowboys are the new #2 team in the AP Poll. QB Brandon Weeden threw for a school-record 502 yards and four touchdowns.

Gun Show! Tony Stewart holds up six-shooters after winning the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. Stewart still trails points leader Carl Edwards by 3 as the Chase lead is cut.

Western Conference Champs! The LA Galaxy advance to the MLS Cup with a 3 – 1 victory over Real Salt Lake. Mike Magee scored the go-ahead goal on a great pass from David Beckham in the 58th minute. The Galaxy will take on the Houston Dynamo November 20th.

Martin Kaymer showed how you can never say never. He came up with the biggest comeback ever in a World Golf Championship. Kaymer erased a 5-shot deficit and won the HSBC Champions.
