Nuggets rank first in the NBA in rebounds per game.

Just eight games into the 2012-2013 NBA season, the Nuggets
may not be sitting atop the Northwest Division but are sitting at the top of
another category. Denver hauls in 51 rebounds per game.

Right now, six players are averaging over 5 rebounds per
game for the Nuggets. Kenneth Faried leads the Nuggets with 10.8 a game,
ranking him sixth in the NBA. Former 76er and new Denver Nugget, Andre Iguodala
racks up 7.5 boards a game.
As anyone knows, if a team doesn’t rebound, points won’t be
scored on the opposite end. Scoring points for the Nuggets isn’t the issue.
They are ninth in the NBA in the category with 99.1 points per game. It’s the
winning that hasn’t been as easy to come by. Denver is just 4-4 so far this
season and is sitting in second to last place in the division.
