It
may be early in the season, but drivers Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin are
already feuding.
It
all started last week at Bristol Motor Speedway. Logano thought Hamlin wrecked him, so after the race he went
over to Hamlin’s car, at which point a shoving match between the crews broke
out.

Logano
then took to Twitter to voice his frustrations with Hamlin. “Hey @dennyhamlin
great job protecting that genius brain of yours by keeping your helmet on,”
Logano tweeted.
Hamlin
responded, “Why's that. What would u do?”
“Show
you some love and appreciation,” Logano tweeted.
“Need
my address?” Hamlin asked. He
ended with “Last time I checked he had my cell and direct message button to
choose from if he's got a problem. Otherwise hush little child.”
This
conversation left many wondering if either would retaliate at Auto Club
Speedway in California the next weekend.
They played nice for the entire race until it came to the last lap. Logano had the lead with Hamlin in a
close second. After bumping off of
each other repeatedly, both cars crashed before the finish line. Kyle Busch went on to win. Logano and Hamlin finished third and
twenty-fifth respectively. Hamlin
was taken away in an ambulance and airlifted to a nearby hospital. He suffered a compression fracture in
his back and will be out of the car for at least six weeks.
After
the race ended, Tony Stewart was upset with Logano, as well, for a block Logano
used in the closing laps of the race.
He proceeded to throw some punches directed at Logano on pit road.
