No other team flourishes at home quite
like the Utah Jazz.

Utah isn’t a
place you think of when you think of a welcoming, comforting and homey place.
If you ask the Jazz whether or not Utah is a great place to be, their answer
may be very, very different, however.

Just 15 games
into the NBA season, Utah hasn’t lost at home yet. While sitting in the middle
of the Northwest conference, out of the Jazz’s eight wins, six have come in
Salt Lake City.
The home winning
streak continued the other night as the Jazz made a wild comeback to top
conference rival, the Denver Nuggets. Utah gave up 65 points in the first half
and walked off the court for halftime to boo’s from the hometown crowd.
The Jazz looked
like a new team coming out for the second half, led by Al Jefferson and Derrick
Favors. Jefferson led the Jazz with a career high 28 points followed by Favors
with 19.
Favors helped
seal a Jazz victory with just a free throw in the final four seconds. For now,
he’s happy with winning at home, especially against a conference foe but knows
the Jazz must do more.
"It helps us out, but we still got to go on the
road and prove we can beat teams on the road." Favors said.
