“NASCAR Unites - An American Salute” will run for six weeks as a way to celebrate America, the military, and their families.
The program will start during Memorial Day Weekend at the Charlotte Motor Speedway and continue until the Fourth of July weekend at the Daytona International Speedway. Across the three series, Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Camping World Trucks, the program will reach 9 different tracks during the six weeks.
It will feature red, white, and blue paint schemes on the cars as well as different events such fundraisers and social media promotions. Drivers that have already chosen to participate include Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards, Greg Biffle, Brad Keselowski, and Danica Patrick.
Joining these drivers will be Dale Earnhardt Jr. The public got a sneak peek at what they can expect the cars to look like at the 134th Annual Easter Egg Roll in Washington D.C. this past weekend when Jr.’s car was on display on the National Mall.
