Our professional baseball history records the National League and the American Association in the late 1800s, the birth of the American League, the first World Series in 1903, the merger, the polyester 70s, and the days of interleague play. Enjoy this ongoing project and also note that the Houston Texans and Washington Nationals are the only operating franchises that have zero championships at any level (The Expos won in Montreal, not in DC).
