David Freese hits the Cardinals into a deciding Game 7 after an epic battle in arguably the best World Series game in major league history. Chris Carpenter is expected to start for the birds on 3 days rest, while the Rangers turn to Matt Harrison to bring Texas their 1st World Series.
Matthew Tucker and the Horned Frogs clash tonight with BYU tonight at Cowboys Stadium. Although a nonconference matchup, hype surrounds these 2 teams with the possibility of realignment and becoming Big 12 opponents.
The NBA owners and players met for the 3rd straight day and David Stern vows they will take “one heck of a shot” at ending the lockout. Perhaps some light for the NBA season. Will it be back on its feet before the weekend’s end?
